She has accumulated many hours of education with industry leading companies such as: Bumble & Bumble, Toni & Guy, Oribe, Arrojo, and Vidal Sassoon. Through this, she has developed a loyal clientele who trust her to give them an impactful and individual style. Color Specialist, Owner

After several years of extensive training in New York under some of the city’s best, Jen became one of DC’s pioneers in bringing balayage to the city. Jen has garnered over a decade of experience as well as color education with top companies such as: Loreal Professional Academy, Arojo, Redken, Wella, and Whittemore House. Throughout her time of honing her craft of customized color, her theory in hair has remained consistent — hair is only beautiful if it’s healthy. Jen’s successful formula to maintaining the hair’s integrity and believing in the “less is more” approach has gained her a devoted following in the city.

Hair Stylist

Thomas was born and raised in the DC Metropolitan area. After studying creative advertising in college, he recognized his passion in hair and beauty. His training and education began in 2016 with Paul Mitchell. From there, Thomas went on to begin a rigorous apprenticeship in one of DC’s top salons. The continued education Thomas received allowed him to perfect his craft in cutting and styling. He has learned razor cutting techniques from Nick Arrojo and curly cutting techniques from Mizani and @evanjosephcurls. His main focus is on creating soft, lived-in cuts that are easy to manage and accentuate your best features!

Leigh began her career as a hairstylist 10 years ago after graduating from the Aveda Institute in DC. From there, she went on to work in several of the top salons DC has to offer. Over the last decade spent in the industry, Leigh has mastered the art of dry cutting, which lends itself well to easy-to-manage, wearable hair. Her top priority as your stylist is to leave you feeling your best with a shape that will fit seamlessly into your lifestyle. Whether it's long or short, Leigh is confident that she can create a look you will love.

Lilly is a graduate of the Aveda Institute where her passion for beautiful blended color first began. She loves getting to know her client’s hair goals and lifestyle in order to create a tailored look for each person who sits in her chair. Whether it’s through customized foil work or balayage, she has a love for beautifully detailed hair color.

Zoe is a Paul Mitchell graduate and a natural when it comes to the art of hairdressing. Coming from a family of artists, Zoe found her niche in hair cutting and styling. She especially loves dry cutting techniques and super soft layering. Zoe is also Aurora’s in house hair extension specialist.

Jazz has been working in the industry for over two years, after graduating from the esteemed Temple Academy by Paul Mitchell. From there, he went on to work in Tysons Corner perfecting his skill and becoming an Ambassador for a major hair care line. His love for the city brought him to DC, where he sought out a salon that could bring him more education and help him further his career in hair coloring. Starting the next chapter of his career at Aurora, helped him realize his passion has always been in the color department. After spending time learning our salon brand, he decided to undergo our apprenticeship solely focused on the art of hair color. He enjoys multiple highlighting techniques such as balayage and foiling methods, which he feels allows him artistic freedom. Having honed his skill to perfection, he loves for his color services to result in stunning and healthy hair transformations.

Sitting in Juno's chair is a breath of fresh air, as she has a strong passion for transforming a client's confidence from the inside out. While attending Temple Academy by Paul Mitchell, she immediately fostered a love for tailoring each cut to a person's  lifestyle and personality. Whether it's a blunt bob or effortless layering work, she is well versed in a multitude of precision cutting techniques. Working alongside our top stylists, Juno dedicated this past year to her passion of learning and perfecting her cutting and styling skills to truly represent the Aurora brand. She is also an extension specialist, specializing in Peace Hair Co. extensions.

After graduating from the reputable Arrojo Academy, Becca began her career in New York City. While living in the city, she continued her passion for education by taking advanced classes from Wella, L’Oréal, and Goldwell. At the KAO academy, Becca earned her Master Colorist Certification from Goldwell. Her favorite part of the beauty industry is empowering her clients to look and feel their best. Becca is also certified in hand-tied and keratin bonded hair extensions. Becca loves tailoring the service to fit her client's goals and needs.
